GUI Look and Feel

Before starting the GUI you can choose in which style you want it to be displayed. This can be done with the switch "-l" (edit this switch in the properties of the desktop icon of SEP sesam)

Up to now the following Look&Feel's are supported:

-l Metal
-l System
-l Mac
-l Windows
-l Motif
-l Kunststoff (eng. plastic)

Here we have to distinguish between whether it is a "CrossPlatformLookAndFeel" or a Native L&F.

Native L&F's are only working on platforms equivalent to the OS. So it makes no sense to use -l Windows under Linux or -l Mac under Windows.

The "CrossPlatform Versions" are working on every OS. At the moment: Motiv and Kunststoff.

The configuration -l System starts the standart appearance of the OS, which means -l System on Windows looks different than on Linux.

The appearance also depends on the Java version you are using.
